Christmas Season - 2014

I cannot believe Christmas is over. Just like that, it's gone. I can't pretend I'm not sad about it, but I plan on maintaining a Christmas mentality for as long as possible. That'll help prevent a time of mourning. Does anyone else feel that way on December 26th?

This Christmas season was filled with SO MANY THINGS! Our trip to Disney World, our church's Drive-Thru Living Nativity, parties, lunches, and presents galore. I loved every second of it! Here are a few of my favorites from this magical time of year!

I had the pleasure of singing "Hallelujah (light has come)" by BarlowGirl with my friends, Rena and Donna. It is one of my favorite Christmas songs!! You can listen to it here, around 8:20.

One thing I am so grateful for is the fact that I have A LOT of party hosting experience, thanks to my wonderful in-laws. Since moving into their new home, they have held over 100 functions, mostly for our church members and staff. Since I've been right there with them, I've learned so much about throwing parties. It's a skill I will carry with me for the rest of my life. This picture is from the staff Christmas tea. I couldn't post the "good" one...this was so much better.

This is from Christmas Sunday! I left the house before Cal got out of bed, so he didn't know that I had picked his outfit to match mine. I don't normally tell him what to wear, but I was secretly planning this picture. Haha!

On my mom's side, there are ten of us grandchildren. Some of us are married and some have kids. I loved watching all the babies open their gifts! There's nothing like watching kids tear into presents at Christmastime. It was a flashback to my childhood!

This is me with cousin Christabel, my new sister, Sarah, and cousin Susie! I'm excited to say these ladies let me play a special role in each of their weddings.

If you follow me on Instagram, you already saw this. I laughed so hard when Cal showed me this picture. It's me crying because Cal's parents gave me the Disney Mickey train set to go around my tree. I eyed this when I was there a few weeks ago, but decided I would hold off on buying it for myself. I was beyond touched.

Cranberry pie. What can I say? This was the highlight of my plate. Cal made it. Maybe I'll ask him to marry me.

I hope your day was filled with laughter and love! Christmas truly is the best day of the year! It represents the most important gift of all, Jesus on this Earth. For me, that is the greatest joy in my life.

I am so excited for 2015! There are so many things I want to accomplish, and YOU will be able to play a part in it all. This is going to be a year of growth and development, both professionally and personally! Cheers!
