Haleigh + Michael | Greenbrier Church | Chesapeake, VA

Saturday was one of those days I would like to permanently burn into my memory. I want to be able to remember it 30 years from now. Haleigh and Michael are married and their big day was nothing short of amazing.

If you've been with me for a while, you'll remember Haleigh's sister, Dani. After Dani and Andrew's wedding, I knew Haleigh and Michael's day would be just as memorable. Their family is one I have adored for quite a few years. I absolutely love them and their humble, giving, gentle spirits.

Please enjoy this little iPhone preview. If you're more inclined to appreciate professional quality photos (as you should be), go follow Heather K Photos! She was an ABSOLUTE joy to work with and I would highly recommend her to any couple searching for a wedding photographer. She will be sharing Haleigh and Michael's wedding images sometime reeeeaally soon, so make sure you follow her HERE ON FACEBOOK. I've chosen not to share a lot of the tiny details because Heather's gallery will be so much more impressive than mine. ;)

My sweet mom assisted me. She is the best. Like, of all time. I wish we had a selfie of the two of us, but it didn't turn out. Thanks, mom!

Two of Haleigh's friends from cosmetology school came to glam her up! She's so beautiful without makeup, but LET ME TELL YOU - Haleigh looked like a supermodel when they were finished. I can't wait til you see the professional photos. #BABESTATUS

Little fun fact: The first memory I have of Haleigh was when I went to her house to hang out with her old sister, who also happens to be my dear friend, Kenna. Haleigh heard of my love for Harry Potter and left a Ministry of Magic sign on the toilet seat. Haha! This girl is my long lost soulmate! ps- When the girl next to you is wearing red lipstick, you should at least wear some form of lip gloss or SOMETHING.

Oh, this bridal party! Their dresses were from Etsy and could be tied in many different ways. I loved Haleigh's color choices!

These lovebirds were very smoochy...I managed to sneak out for a few shots while Heather was doing their post-ceremony session.

Let me talk about the FOOD and the CAKE! Because of it being winter and all, the happy couple opted for a soup bar!! I was in pregnant lady heaven! And then, there was CHEESECAKE! A close family friend, Jocelyn, made cupcakes and cheesecake for 200 people. Some of the best cheesecake I've ever had!
